Such as granite, is taken from natural rock, cut and polished to clients specification.   A man made product made from quartz aggregate, pigments and resins. This is a hard wearing finish.

A solid surface material, non-pourus and durable, can be easily moulded and the joins are seamless.   A benchtop or door finish, gives warmth and uniqueness.  

 

      
     

 

  Marble Benchtop

 Is generally used for vanities, occasionally kitchens but it doesn’t have the hard wearing properties which the quartz or granite based stone does.   A moisture resistant substrate is used with the laminate glued over. This is a product which wears well, available in gloss natural or dimensions finish.

A benchtop or splashback finish, mainly used for its aesthetic appeal.
